The price is fixed before anyone picks up a tool.
No quotes to wait for and no hourly meter running. You see the total, you pay it once, and it is held until you say the job is done.
Cleaning: by the room
A base price, plus each room you want cleaned, plus any extras such as the oven or windows. Bigger and dirtier homes take longer, and the price says so.
Trades: by the size of the job
A call-out fee, plus one of four fixed prices: minor, standard, major or complex. You choose the closest match and that is what you pay.

Plans change. Here is what cancelling costs.
Until someone has taken your job, cancelling is always free. After that it depends how close you are to the start, because they have kept that time for you.
On a £100 booking you would get back , and the rest goes to the professional for the lost slot.

Where your payment goes.
Held, not handed over
When you pay, the money is held by Blincke. The professional is not paid yet.
Released when you confirm
Press “I am satisfied” and it is released. If you say nothing, that happens automatically after 48 hours.
Frozen if there is a problem
Report a problem and nobody is paid and nothing is refunded until it is put right or our team decides.
Of what you pay, 85% goes to the professional and 15% is Blincke's service fee. Card payments are taken by Stripe on their own secure page.
Questions about paying.
When am I charged?
You pay when you submit your request. The money is held safely and only released to the cleaner or tradesperson after you confirm the job is done — or automatically 48 hours after they finish if you do not respond.
How is the price worked out?
Cleaning is priced room by room. Plumbing, electrical and other trades are priced by a call-out fee plus the size of the job you choose: minor, standard, major or complex. You always see the exact price before you pay.
What if I am not happy with the work?
Choose “Report a problem” instead of confirming. Payment stays held while they return to put it right, or while our team reviews the case. Nobody is paid and nothing is refunded until it is settled.
Can I choose who does the job?
Yes. Pick any verified professional who covers your postcode. They are listed by customer rating, jobs completed and payments received. If your choice cannot take the job, you decide whether it opens to others or is refunded.
How do refunds work?
Refunds go straight to your wallet. You can use the balance on another booking or ask us to return it to your card.
Is my address shared?
Only with the person who takes your job, and only once they have taken it. Before that they see just your district and the first half of your postcode. Access codes appear two hours before the start.
